A LONG TIME COMING

At the beginning of the new year, I found myself knee-deep in a classic cleanout of my bedroom. Among the clutter, I stumbled upon a stack of notebooks that had been taking up space in the drawers of my bedside table for far too long. Instead of tossing them out immediately, I decided to take a trip down memory lane and flip through their pages.

Alongside mundane to-do lists, work tasks, and groceries to buy, I was pleasantly surprised to find a multitude of fashion garment design drawings. These sketches, created during my pre-fashion school graduation days, were a charming reminder of how far I've come in my journey.

While the skill level of the illustrations may leave much to be desired, they are a testament to the fact that my passion for fashion and design has been brewing within me for a long time. As I snapped some photos of the sketches before saying goodbye to the notebooks, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and nostalgia. My brand, Mary Morag, has truly been a long time in the making, and every doodle and design from those notebooks has played a part in shaping its evolution.
