ILLUSTRATIONS FOR THE FUTURE

While I've been working on launching my first collection, I came across an Instagram account that really caught my eye. Elaine Furst, a fashion illustration student based in New York, runs an account named 'Valentines for Valentino,' dedicated to her favourite fashion brand. Her feed is filled with illustrations of outfits from high-end labels like Chanel, Armani, Dior, and of course, Valentino.

What drew me to Elaine's work was her quirky and imperfect style, which I found to be super charming and distinctive. I took a chance and decided to reach out about a potential commission. After sharing some of my designs for the future of my brand, she selected three to work her magic on and illustrate in her unique style.

The result? I absolutely loved Elaine's take on Mary Morag designs! Her style was refreshingly different to my own and added a whole new dimension to my plans.

If you're interested in fashion drawings with a point of difference, I highly recommend checking out Elaine's work. She’s open for commissions, so don't hesitate to reach outβ€”I'm already excited about the possibility of collaborating with her on future collections.
