MY FIRST STUDIO SPACE

Just as I graduated, my fashion school had just set up what they call a 'Makerspace' on campus. This spacious workroom was specifically designed to be rented out to alumni like me to use for our projects or when starting our own labels, and it couldn't have come at a more perfect time.

The studio is a dream sewing space for me. It’s equipped with huge cutting tables, mannequins of all sizes and a professional steam iron. But what really sealed the deal for me were the JUKI industrial sewing machines – my absolute favourite. These machines are a dream to work with, and having access to them on a regular basis was a total game-changer.

Working in this studio has been a pleasure and has made my creative process so much more enjoyable and efficient.
